I bent and twisted the train with a lattice modifier, layering multiple shapekeys to control the taper, the curve and some final adjustments non-destructively.

If I were to do something similar again, though, I would use a curve modifier to twist it.

Öcher Party-Tram

This is kind of a whacky piece I made exactly 25 months ago as a birthday gift.

It depicts Aachen's historic and now defunct tram, taking us on a ride to party. I used our real photos for the original piece, turned them into silhouettes for the portfolio.
